Past Community Programs

KIDS FASHION DESIGN

Welcome to our Kids Fashion Design Program, a pioneering initiative designed to nurture creativity, instill confidence, and foster community connections among young people in Hobart. Developed in collaboration with the Tasmanian Fashion Festival, this program represents a unique opportunity for children aged 10-16 to explore their passion for fashion in a supportive and inspiring environment.


Our 8-week program is carefully designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of fashion design while nurturing their individual talents and interests. Each week, students will engage in hands-on activities, discussions, and projects aimed at honing their skills and fostering their creativity.


In Hobart, opportunities for children to engage with fashion design are limited. With few formal education options available, we recognised a significant gap in the local landscape. Our program aims to fill this void by providing a dedicated space where young designers can learn, grow, and express themselves without fear or judgment.
