Cindy Wallace was born in the Santa Teresa Community in Central Australia in 1978. Her fathers country is Annamurra (near Gem Tree) and her mothers country is Arrulka (near Conniston Station). Cindy has been painting for over a decade and was self taught. Her art focuses on Women's Ceremonies where body paint designs are applied to the chest, breasts and shoulders of women who are about to partake in the ceremony.
