There will be three Wild Stitch staff supervising at all times. Snacks and activities will be provided.
Give your child the opportunity for one final, important moment before the runway: the model fitting.
This session is where six months of work finally comes together. It's an exciting experience where each child fits their finished garment and accessories to the model for the first time; a genuine form of closure after months of designing, sewing, and problem-solving.
Why it matters:
A final check that the garment fits properly, with time for any last alterations
A chance to see the completed look in full, and confirm it's runway-ready
An opportunity to meet industry professionals working behind the scenes
A first taste of being backstage at a real fashion event
A meaningful moment of pride and closure after months of hard work
For many children, this is the moment their design truly becomes real; no longer a sketch or a work-in-progress, but a finished garment.
This isn't a compulsory part of the program, but it's a wonderful way to mark how far they've come; and to make sure they attend the runway feeling confident, comfortable, and proud.
