🎨 Young Artists: Textile Art Course at Wild Stitch Studio
Unlock your child's creativity and watch them become the artist they're meant to be.
Designed for young creatives of all levels, this exciting textile arts course encourages children to leave fear and judgment behind as they discover their own unique visual language. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has some art experience, no prior sewing or creative background is required.
🌟 A Very Special Opportunity
We're thrilled to be partnering with Rosny Farm to give students the chance to create their very own textile art piece for the Wild Stitch Studio Exhibition at Rosny Farm Schoolhouse Gallery in February 2027. This is a wonderful opportunity for young artists to showcase their work during a 4 week exhibition, receive support throughout their creative journey, and connect with a community of fellow makers.
🧵 What Your Child Will Learn
Led by our experienced and encouraging tutors, students will:
- Design and craft their own original textile art piece — whether that's a quilt, sculpture, or wearable art item
- Explore working in three dimensions using textiles
- Discover their unique creative voice
- Learn essential art processes through a curriculum designed to scaffold, inspire, and build confidence
- Be part of a warm and supportive creative community
From brainstorming bold ideas to mastering hands-on textile techniques, every step of the journey is guided and celebrated. 🖌️
